HOW IS THE WEATHER IN MEXICO, SPECIFICALLY IN THE PUERTO VALLARTA AREA?
Puerto Vallarta, Mexico enjoys a warm, tropical climate year-round. The average high temperature typically ranges from 80 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit (27 to 32 degrees Celsius), with the average low hovering between 65 and 75 degrees Fahrenheit (18 to 24 degrees Celsius).

The rainy season in Puerto Vallarta spans from June to October, with the heaviest rainfall usually occurring in July and August. Despite the rain, showers often come in the form of brief, heavy downpours, and there are still plenty of sunny intervals throughout the day.

The dry season lasts from November to May, offering mostly sunny days with very little rainfall. This is also the peak tourist season, when visitors flock to Puerto Vallarta to take advantage of the pleasant weather and escape cooler climates in other regions.

Puerto Vallarta is located in a region that can be affected by hurricanes, particularly during the Atlantic hurricane season from June to November. While direct hits are uncommon, it's always wise to stay informed through weather reports and take precautions if necessary.

WHAT CURRENCY IS USED IN MEXICO?
The official currency of Mexico is the Mexican peso (MXN).
When visiting Mexico, it is best to exchange your home currency for Mexican pesos, as many businesses may not accept foreign currency. It's also a good idea to bring some US dollars as a backup, as they are widely accepted in tourist areas and can be easily exchanged for pesos at banks or currency exchange offices.
Credit cards are also widely accepted in Mexico, but it's a good idea to check with your bank or credit card company to see if there are any international transaction fees or foreign exchange fees that apply. ATMs are also widely available in tourist areas, and they typically dispense pesos.

If you are a citizen of a country other than those listed above, you may need to apply for a tourist visa before traveling to Mexico. It's best to check with the Mexican embassy or consulate in your home country to determine the visa requirements that apply to you.
